I am planning to upgrade my current PC. I do everything from Gaming to virtualization on it. I've been waiting for an "cheap" CPU with a good balance of IPC and Multi-threaded performance. The question is, what graphics card should I get, on an 1080p monitor I don't really need more horsepower than an rx 480 or GTX 1060. The AMD option here is 10-30€ cheaper. So I'm wondering what is the state of the AMD's drivers (open and closed), how on par are they with their windows counterparts, in raw in-game performance, but also in features. DAL/DC support is critical to my setup, for example. So rx 480?
