    He was one of the few Canonical people I liked a lot and so I'm happy that he will join RH.

      It seems he wasn't a critical component of the team so Ubuntu will not be impacted at all. /s

        I really liked his articles and work around QA and testing. Always wondered why he wasn't headhunted by red hat. Congratulations to Martin and Red Hat.

          No surprise as he was the "Freedesktop" guy in Canonical for a long time and also a systemd committer.

                Well when you're already on top in the cloud and Linux desktop market, it takes a lot of manpower to go even farther.
