I was thinking the EXACT same thing, lmao. Also, closed-source protocol for the internet, brilliant.

I'm wondering why no one has mentioned SPDY and HTTP/2 - how does it compare to these two? Is it actually any different from these two? (only the delta data thing seems to be an additional feature).

Beware of compression in encryption algorithms. The size of data transferred is a leak, and the compression rate is based on cleartext contents. Therefore compressed HTTPS leaks information about the data being transferred.

When in doubt, pad to a known size and send that.

Anyone else thinking that's a rather obvious Nazi Troll?

Try to use one of the most high-profile symbols of a regime and you get some flak. It's not "war guilt".

The swastika (most known as "the nazi symbol") is an old "symbol of peace and continuity" coming from hindu culture (India), and as such it could very well be the symbol of Ubuntu (as the name has a similar meaning).

But what would happen if Ubuntu started placing swastikas in their logo? Hm?

Yeah, and if it was done by anyone other than German company - for example by Austrian, it would get zero attention. Now, I leave you to find out who Hitler was by nationality. That's what is making it so hypocritical.

Yeah, if it was named HTTP-EinsatzGruppe it would be an issue.

Well, he is right. It only becomes morally dubious if done by people from Germany.
For example, the criticised "SS" is included in a logo on many modern computers, in form of the USB-SS, aka USB SuperSpeed, aka USB 3.0 logo.

aht0 beeing a German it's hard to not connect oneself to the second world war, because "we" started the whole mess. And we're still having problems with the right wing, see the "afd" and "npd" for example. We mustn't forget our hostory to never let anything like that happen ever again!
