Scrolling in Firefox causes X to use 100% CPU

OK, so my google foo is failing me, I keep coming up with really old results that can't possibly be related.

Cairo maybe? I have no clue, I'm stumped on it, has anyone else seen this?

Well, It's not just scrolling, it's all rendering in Firefox is causing X to use 100% CPU. I noticed scrolling first because it's the most obvious, but even page loads cause it too.

Ah hah! I just got a response on a different forum...

The problem is apparently gfx.xrender.enable. Setting that to false corrected the issue.
