Hello all,
I'm one of those diehards who haven't got Flash installed/running, and therefore often have to invest quite a bit of effort in order to watch online videos (youtube being the easier one, as there are comfortable scripts to deal with the site). What I'd really like to see adopted by more sites is to provide the possibility of directly downloading the SWF-wrapped FLV-files, so that I can put mplayer to good use decoding them.
Is there any chance Phoronix might adopt this for its articles? (I'd really like to see the kernel-modesetting videos right now, but I'm too short on time to dissect the page source and resulting URL to be able to.)
Cheers
