        The last commit was *authored* in 2012, but committed in 2015. The second last commit was authored in 2014 and committed in 2015. That's typical when git commits are rebased and reordered, sometimes done for readability of history.

            GEGL is the anchor delaying everything interesting. You'd think they'd make GEGL feature complete, including the OpenCL ports of extensions, and then move forward, but no, it's a piecemeal approach.

            The rate it is taking 2.10 to get released don't expect 3.0 to be released until somewhere in 2017.

              I wonder why GIMP development appears so slow, yet so many people want it to go faster. It must be an insane user/developer ratio for this piece of software.
