Other than your denial of God and worshipping whatever it is you worship ... I can't say since I don't know you. If you were honest, it'd be easier to deduce what your active sins are, but I doubt you'll answer questions of that nature. You can bet your bottom dollar that you are enslaved by more than just your own vanity and pride which you confirmed by your denial of God and is obvious through your language on here. The others, more embarassing sins are probably hidden from everyone's view (except God's).

    • Greetings to you my pot-smoking, homosexual-marriage-legislating friend.

You have it wrong - we are born dead. "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."- Philippians 1:21

        • Search functions can make code auditing must faster and deter attacks

Even in open source BSD had a hidden backdoor for two decades.
An initial audit for non-obfuscated IP addresses and URLs would go very fast once decompilation to C was done, as it would be simple strings searches in the text editor. You could probably download a list of partial strings for some of the simpler URL/IP address obfusacation techniques somewhere as well, meaning a script kiddie would be able to find all but the best efforts. In turn, forcing the use of methods of obfuscating IP addresses and URL's in 16 bit BIOS binaries would hugely increase the amount of work needed to code each malicious BIOS. For every board there are many BIOS versions, and some users would notice a version change. That means they get the same problem Coreboot gets about having to support a huge variety of boards, multiplies by the number of BIOS versions per board.

We also know that the FBI (a bigger threat than the NSA to most in this country) avoids using malicious software on perceived hackers due to the threat of having their software captured. When one of their kiddie-porn investigations required the use of Windows malware to go around Tor, they got caught and their code published. This sort of thing, combined with knowledge that it will soon be possible to decompile a BIOS to C, will be an additional deterrent to widespread use of malicious BIOS code,

Thankfully, we now know the NSA still relies on intercepting shipments of machine to known targets to install custom BIOS firmware , indicating they may NOT be simply activating backdoors preinstalled in all firmware over a network. The counter is to never order computer equipment, always buy it off the shelf with cash only.,

Nowdays, I just find the actual facts and science to be infinitely more fascinating. Someone wrote a story 2000 years ago, and yeah, it's a nice story but then, so is Lord of the Rings and I'm not going around preaching people to accept Gandalf to their hearts...

Is there a being or entity in existence we could understand as a "god"? Maybe, who knows, but as long as that being doesn't directly influence us in a way that we can objectively observe and quantify, it doesn't really matter all that much to begin with. The universe is huge, sometimes it just blows my mind how amazingly vast the universe is - we're just an insignificant footnote in the grand scale of the universe. I think it is just really arrogant to assume that some people, just 2000 years ago, living in mudhuts on this insignificant flyspeck of a planet, somehow just stumbled on all the answers about our universe... it's just absurd if you really think about it.
I love science as much as the next guy. It never answers any of the real questions as to why life on Earth sucks. People are people now and 2000 years ago, plagued by the same existential angst and questions as we are today. More knowledge has certainly not brought about transformation of the human condition - at least not for most of the planet. We're blessed here in America, sure, but this is not the case elsewhere by any stretch of the imagination. You can have a great life, be well fed, live in a civilized society, type on expensive computers, gadgets, get off on our own intellectualism, vanity, agreement with others, whatever... and still never be free in the true sense, free from sin. Divorce rate is > 55% in this country alone. Richest, most civilized country in the world. Natality is negative instead of positive. 50+ million abortions performed since the '70's and counting. Homosexual marriage being permitted at the state level, deviating from God's laws. Next is polygamy. Corruption at the top level of government like never before (adultery, lust addiction, lying...).

I can go on and on. You don't address this by technology or economical progress or scientific progress - you address this by evangelizing the Gospel and hoping people wake up and accept God and give up their sinful lives..... We are totally depraved in every sense of the word and the only hope and redemption comes through Him.

I know how it sounds, but you either hear truth...or you don't. I can't help you. All I can do is evangelize, whether I do it effectively or not, i don't know - but I am not going to stay silent and watch people end up in hell. Even if one soul responds to my plea for God, and becomes saved, I have accomplished a greater task than anything in my life.

I'd like to point out that these four things are caused more by feminism than by sin (though, considering modern feminism a sin would certainly be a humorous conclusion).

A well-researched article on the topic:

Those four things are coincidentally not problems in Muslim countries. Make of that what you will.

Blasphemy.Pride too (you're engulfed in it, given your question). And no - what is idiotic however, is one's reluctance to see what's in front of one's own nose.

A man ought to be loving, kind and considerate toward his wife (Ephesians 5:25, Colossians 3:19, 1st Peter 3:7, 1st Corinthians 7:3)... If you do this, as well as submit to your wife (Ephesians 5:21), what do you think you are going to get in return as a husband? Feminism? Or something else entirely?

Feminism is a response to man's assholeness toward women... There are expectations of men that God has... once you've met them, there's no way a woman will want to leave you, quite opposite, she will near worship you.

Men take the lead... and set a Godly example with your behavior. Women will follow - what woman doesn't want a real man?

People have fought long and hard for gender and sexual preference equality. Bigotry and hate is not what any serious religion is about, and millions of people in every known religion have no interest in using their beliefs to peddle hate. Hate may bring the checks in for a TV "preacher" but neither Moses nor Jesus nor Muhammed made their names peddling hate.

Christian Fundamentalists in particular seem to forget that Jesus told people to give away their money and fight for the poor. He applied his whip to the money changers in the temple, not the sex workers in the streets outside. I once witnessed a re-enactment of that as a protest against predatory payday lenders in DC. Reverend Hagler pulled off his belt and threatened to use it on the manager of an Ace Cash Express outlet. The campaign was a success, the payday lenders all quit DC after we got their interest capped at 24% APR.
