Goodbye and good luck with a non-GNU operating system. You will be sorely missed, but since you can't cherry pick the companies you like and accept CLA from them while saying no to others, it's something you have to do. Bye!
Good point, but most likely will be netlected by the Honton. You can read through the previous pages and count how many reasonable responses were skiped by him.

Honton CHERRYPICKS responses to answer, and when answering a response he CHERRYPICKS suitable points to challenge. It's becoming less and less interestring feeding this troll, being fooled by him further will only give him extra pleasure. So everyone, please stop. Moderator, please lock this thread, a lot of good Linux guys are wasting their lives here.

@mgraesslin, if you really want to defeat him, try another approach. You have been jumping in his trap again and again, I'm now worried that the quality of KWin would be affected

I think I need a degree in psychology to understand why do you do all this. Does it really matter if GNOME kills KDE or vice versa? As long as there's one last developer in there, it isn't dead.

just look at biography of its creator and you'll figure out that gnome is Microsoft try to bug us all!!!

PS. And on my Debian(testing) KDE works all day long without any crashes!
Haha. I use the same, pretty much, and it crashes VERY OFTEN. Next time I re-install, I'll use XFCE or Cinnamon or something else - anything other than KDE.

In the last 3 years, KDE has never crashed on Debian stable. Never.

I think I've had one single case with Debian testing where Plasma crashed (so I just restarted it from the terminal, no biggie).

Which version are you using, from which repository, and what exactly crashed?

Why do you kill our own thread like that?

Well, to make this thread a little less boring, have some music:

Since KDE works for many people but crashes on you, maybe you use a crappy distro? On stable distros their is no problem with KDE.

                • Honton says CLA's are limiting the freedom of both users and developers.
RMS says that CLAs are perfectly acceptable as a form of commercialisation of open source code.
So Honton can either disown RMS's own ideals or admit that he's just being pedantic.

                    • LoL.
Who started this thread seems to be a people that love finish his post with FACT!
Well, I have a FACT! for him:
                      1) when I have a young project I need to adjust many things several times. This means many commit. But this is more a proof that the project is still young that better than other project with less commit.
                      2) Looking to wayland, there are less commits now than in the past, this is because the project is more mature now, it's not because there are less developers now or less interest.
                      3) how can you manage the following situation:
Project A: sent a commit to change a variable name
Project B: sent a commit to implement a new feature
they are 1 commit for side, but do you think they have the same importance?
How your really-idiot-proof-of-gnome-kills-kde can address this kind of error?
                      FACT!
Untill you can proof without doubts that the number of commits represent everything about the vitality of a project, you remain a troll.
                      And now go home. Bye.
