Flash and PDF are open specifications that anyone can implement. Flash must die violently.

Flash is cancer and aids, I no longer use flash

you can watch all youtube videos in html5 and I mean ALL.

and you can watch porn by going to the mobile version of the famous porn sites (not me tho since porn is for jews)

about the chromebook you can read some reports online

      nah man

it's a pain to even get ubuntu arm running on the thing and basically linux on arm is wayyssssssssss behind x64

and still nobody clarified me about the gfx driver situation

as much as I want to jump into the arm train

I'm going to buy a dell inspiron 15r intel i5 laptop instead.

the wi fi is intel centrino so it should run shit out of the box like this one does.

I disabled flash and enabled html5 in youtube.
8 of 10 videos in subscribed channels don't work (Flash is required).

          they do

          1. just click on the channel button itself and some will play

          2. just edit the tag as youtube.com/embed/7ysdf89

I will try to make a video to explain it but I basically can say 100% of all yt videos in html5

ARM is too slow to decode H264/WebM .
Does Chromebook with openSUSE support HW decoding of H264/WebM ?

HTML5 video will be displayed as slide show on ARM without HW acceleration.

Your video says it requires flash.

There is also another way. You just add /tv# before /watch?=...

                  ie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlEo_G5Crmk becomes http://www.youtube.com/tv#/watch?v=qlEo_G5Crmk

But still this inconvenience is just plain stupid and youtube should fix that. So much for pushing an open web

                    thanks for the TV tip

                    that is useful

and of course with other sites you can open the link in vlc thus making the installation of flash unnecessary.

as far as I can tell the reason youtube makes you jump thru hoops and doesn't fully implement html5 is because of ads
