Freedom of speech doesn’t mean others have to agree with your speech or being able to voice their disagreements with it.

Freedom of speech goes both ways. Otherwise it’s not free speech.

Maybe Fedora engineers could fix basic features instead of chasing dubious labels.
no what sucks is every troll in the world comes up with religious connections however vague and tenuous to whine and moan with a facetious modicum of earnestness FFS! (and it's not only vaguely religiously connected terms either, it also includes historical terms that the snowflakes are offended by... but that's not difficult to achieve..)

Let's be honest here: the one who raised that fuss is likely a militant atheist. He/she likely hates Buddhism, and wants to remove "Karma" for that reason.
Did they ask opinion of actual Buddhists? No. Kinda reminds me of removal of the Speedy Gonzales, despite pleads of Mexicans to not remove him.

Could have debated about something that actually matters, but no, the term karma, that's what they chose to focus on...

I guess when fedora goes under it will have been karma too I suppose.

So when is Fedora changing their name? The fedora is known to be associated with organized crime after all.

This is why I would rather stay away from working in open source organizations these days, or even contributing sporadically to many of the "big" open source communities.

They are filled with increasingly strange people.

Take a lesson from the results of the recent American election.

LOL Well, you just confirmed that it's actually *you* that is the actually politically motivated one as evidenced by your use of "your party". Pretty hypocritical.

Removing the term "karma" from the platform is cultural erasure, and should not be tolerated.

I'd be interested in your understanding of communism
