As if this is an argument. They don't want to spending time on policing it. North Korea is an outcast state for a reason and simply is quarantined for all intents and purposes from all normal people. Russia is now too and I doubt this will change until this Putin scum is gone. Not surprising Putin is now getting help from North Korea. Putin wanted to turn Russia into North Korea? Now he got it.

It's at best a high-speed, thoroughly educated moron, so that really does not say much for humanity.

The MAINTAINERS file is not some petty file with zero implications.

These are the real people whose merge requests Linus will no longer accept directly.

IOW, they have effectively been kicked.

I don't love it, I feel their code should definitely be scrutinized more though of course.

However, I can understand real world devices running your most critical infrastructure of the 21st century are too juicy a target, mistakes aren't acceptable, and politics matters in the real world.

Since when FOSS is free as in 'murica??
I was mistaken to question the need for a harmony kernel even when "they have linux", apparently they might not have it for long.

It would be great if we could keep the conversation polite without calling names or discussing the other person or their characteristics.

Please stick to what they say.

How do you know people with a different, non e.g. ".ru" affiliation, are not bad actors?

Code contributions should be scrutinized regardless. No one should be trusted a priori.

Looks like people here are too fast to forget crucial shit:

Please quote my messages where I called someone in particular names. I dare you.

I often refer to most vocal Linux lovers (as a group) using some damning expressions but they totally deserve it.

Meanwhile, you yourself just couldn't be better, right? Instant insults and name calling.

The question is: are there any spotless nations on this planet? Because it looks like we have to remove just about everyone.
