Weston Russia is not Slavic. Most of Russian army deaths are non Slavic.

Its more you don't have "Russian ethnicity" they want you dead if you look at how Russia is recruiting the army now.

Russian army does dwarf the Ukrainian but quality of soldiers with training and how much corruption and the like is important. Early on the war Russia lost lots of their trained units. Yes when the believed they were going to win in 3 days. Yes stupid things came out like Ukraine getting a stack of equipment because they run out of usable fuel. Yes fuel tankers half filled with water and setup to pump from top really mess up how much fuel you think you have and other stupid corruptions like this.

Panix the issue you miss is a quality trained solider on battle field is worth between 4 to 100 not quality ones. Panix there are many battles in word war I and II that go against counter to the number of soldiers. USSR WWII battles were knowing for losing at least 2 to one compared to the trained Germans yes as high as 20 to 1..

If the USA had not given equipment and weather has not beat the Germans the USSR would have fallen. The bad problem is this victory has left the Russian with the logic throw enough bodies at problem we will win in the end.
