Github does this all the time. They have scripts that run in search of violations of their TOS. The scripts are insanely buggy and don't even properly jive with the actual TOS and documentation about how to do certain things like transition to a new user account. So you submit support ticket to Github, and if you are lucky, within a month they bring you back. At least now they apparently just change it to `public archive`, before they would take down everything repository and org you owned.

So, his employer came under US sanctions, and now a tool used in millions of US servers (including government and intelligence ones) is unmaintained.
I use ipmitool on a daily basis, I wrote probably around a hundred scripts that basically wrap around it. This is going to be interesting.

The most bloody conflict since 9/11 is Syrian war.... that has nothing to do with 9/11 and actually Russia has far bigger involvement then USA.

Interesting how the phrase oft bandied about and also modified is from the "Czar's Soliloquy" by Mark Twain: "[...] loyalty to the Nation ALL the time, loyalty to the Government when it deserves it." https://www.jstor.org/stable/25105366?seq=4

I daresay the chap above who squared Alex's name against a sanctioned business might well be the likeliest issue. Purely based off Michaels article for information, it does seem to be he case, and the final bit is with the hosts to clarify, and if allowed, clear, Alex IF he singularly is allowed to participate despite his employers status.
Thankfully, he manages an open source project and it is automatically 'archived' worldwide and easily recoverable.Hi
