The fact that they failed to get Richard out totally does speak to the argument that they never really ran things and with the meltdown and resignations following his return (taking on the, frankly hilarious, title of "Chief gnuisance") they basically purged themselves out of the organization. This is unfortunately necessary damage control for the damage they did with all the false allegations they made on their way out of the door.

Unfortunately for Richard he's someone who's very easy to hate and demonize. Him being a very friendly person really doesn't play well with women when he's also physically repulsive and neither does the fact that having been in the scene since the late 1970s he's obviously said and thought a lot of things that were perfectly normal back then, but aren't considered acceptable anymore. Particularly among the more puritan-minded elements of the scene, which already tried to force him into retirement.

My 'mother tongue' is English as spoken in the UK, and I have extensive experience working with people around the world whose mother tongues were not English, nevertheless, I can't parse this. Would someone be so kind as to clarify the meaning?

One thing I would point out: claiming to speak for everyone on this forum is rather a broad claim, and would require quite strong evidence of its correctness.

Yes. In fact, let's do it right now.
Here is a comprehensive list of crimes he committed, backed by factual evidence:

Lots of medicines taste like crap but in the end they do fix ailments !
Medicines taste like crap, and so do most poisons. The entire debacle has been led by sjws and ethical source people who have nothing good to do but ride on the success of free and open source and politicise it uselessly and divide the community into parts that will then inevitably die gradually

The only valid accusation made against him is that he's obnoxious, everything else is pure defamation. That's how rotten this community has become.
