Saw this headline, read the article, and very quickly regretted having not ignored the clickbait.

Windows 10 isn’t the most vulnerable operating system – it’s actually Linux

Does not take much to reach this conclusion seeing as users routinely add 3rd party repositories that contain binaries to their installs. Be pretty easy to hide malware in that "cool and freshest" software. No common sense from users part.

Mentality where adding more features (read: adding complexity) is priority-wise ahead of fixing the fucking existing bugs - another aspect that does not create any trust whatsoever. Well, you can't have solid security with such a mindset.

Android tho, it's getting there, reportedly it's by now (v9 and newer) harder to hack than IOS. Linux distros? Bah, code churn combined with feature creep makes it impossible in itself - fix 10 bugs, add 20 "cool features" and along with the latter introduce 1 critical bug, 4 minor bugs and 15 potential weaknesses. While refactoring some feature n'th time. also reintroduce some 20 year old bug second or third time. Yeah, I am bitter and sarcastic.
