No, it's a two-axle vehicle. In transportation regulations, I believe it's common to classify vehicles by the number of axles.

Point taken, didn't look that thorough at the picture to notice the duallies on the back axle. And while 8x8 is the correct word to use within the profession it has some complication when used with laymen since it could be interpreted as 8 wheels on each side so then it requires a further explanation that "8 wheels" usually don't (this thread is the exception then).
