    No root cause yet. I don't know why they don't bisect by function compiled with gcc 8 vs 9 (I'm thinking that would be faster than bisecting gcc trunk). One poster thinks that because the source didn't change, it's the compiler. But it could be bad code with Undefined Behavior, and behaves differently between 8 and 9. But I sure wouldn't bet against a compiler bug for 9.1, hah.
