  • Version 64 of Chrome on Windows 10 breaks casting

Not sure why no one is reporting this issue yet on the trade press sites.
It looks like based on the noise on the Google product forums and my testing -- Chrome version 64 (latest version) breaks casting to Chromecast devices with more than one Chromecast device all the time, and with one device on the network is not 100% stable.

Make sure you are running version 64 of Chrome on Windows 10 and have more than one Chromecast on your network to get 100% repeatable tests.

Makes sense if you have two TV to have one "Cast" thing on each, or should make sense as these crappy little things are much cheaper than a TV or recent computer.

Well, why is there a semi-proprietary protocol in the first place.
You may try Vlc 3.0 I suppose. Might be worse as of yet but who knows, it might be slightly useful
