This is useful if you use GIMP because it still uses GTK2 and haven't been ported over to GTK3 yet.

Now... Xorg is an incredibly good-sounding archenemy name.

On the serious side we still have plenty of "I need network transparency" masturbators even though this has been explained to them by X.org devs year after year.

Well yeah. He's Buzz Lightyear's enemy: Zurg. And the bad guy from the Fifth Element movie: Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg. As an archenemy, he gets around.

What about the users who wish for a bug free desktop that won't crash on each work day during the week? Wayland is great, but it's still far from stable and usable.

Can Wayland even do multiple simultaneous sessions? I.e would VNC on Wayland be like Xvnc or would it be more like Windows where only one person can use it at a time? That is what the Xorg developers suggest and until wayland can do this, it will not be taken up by the industry.

We don't want Microsoft's RDP on Windows or Apple's weird hacked VNC server to become the only solutions now do we?

It seems yes, and since a long time too. (there is also a video) http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pag...tem&px=MTM4MzA

And it seems to be even better than normal multiseat. Each user has its own mouse and its own "active window" (the window receiving keyboard input) so as you see they can type together on two different applications.
