Now unify the input stack on libinput and get rid of xinput, xkb, xkbd2, and all that whatever name is.
And unify the graphics stack on DRI3 and KMS and get rid of all that DRI, DRI2 and UMS.

Trim down the code base and make it lean and clean.

and why xkb? i mean, libxkbcommon is used on lots of waylands enviromtns.
Then those device drivers for those devices needs to be refactored or rewritten.

It is a mess with multiple stacks for input, graphics, etc. The code base is too big, too difficult for new contributors to join, too buggy, too difficult to maintain, too much security vulnerabilities, and too much old legacy stuff.
They need burn everything not needed, deprecate and burn everything old, remove all legacy code, and get rid of all duplicate stacks, and make that code lean and clean.

Yeah, but apparently X.Org Server will still be around for a long time, and also on Wayland systems as part of XWayland.
So might be a good idea to clean it up to make it easier to maintain and more secure.

Ah! Those glamor fixes seem to be also a fix for my occasional problems with text-on-menu-windows misrenderings in Libreoffice on xf86-video-ati (glamor) / radeonsi. From 1.18.<=3 to 1.18.4 it seems to have improved. Nice!
            I just love maintenance releases.
Stop TCPA, stupid software patents and corrupt politicians!
