    Hi, the specs here are stating that the gpu has 400MHz.

        BCM2837 runs most of the VideoCore IV subsystem at 400MHz and the 3D core at 300MHz (versus 250MHz for earlier devices).

          Tortoise and the Hare/slow and steady seems to be their approach. I guess we are still 6 months+ from it being set as the default driver?

          I guess it will have to support all Pis before it becomes the default? The ability to move the MicroSD card back and forth between different Pis is a nice feature that I doubt they will give up willingly.
