        I read somewhere that systemd was going to absorb^Wembed emacs, someone confirms?

          That would actually make more sense so I wonder what their reasons are for using X11. Although now that I think on it it's probably done so that it can work across multiple systems so I suppose I should be asking if anyone can confirm if it works under more systems than Linux.

          I would've thought Vim would be more their style, Emacs is almost a competing product at this stage
