    There was mesa commits for OpenGL 4.0 this morning (ETC) and there is no more "not started" tasks! Only two "in progress" left!

      Someone started work on ARB_shader_subroutine, although "Admit to having started working on this, I don't admit to ever finishing it". It's a bit of work, but it's RedHat dev, so there's hope.

        And the commit message for that 2nd "in progress":
        Admit to having started working on this, I don't admit to ever finishing it
        There are "started" items in that list which have been this way for over a year. So don't get your hopes up, it might mean GL4 in 2016 or later.

          If we are talking about GL 4.0, then there's reasonable to hope that it will hit this year - as we know both pending items are, in fact, in works and one is close to finish line. Second one is simple yet tedious work. As for next stages of OpenGL 4 true, we don't know how long they will take but if Mesa hits 4.0, I suspect there will be extra motivation for those additional items to be started and finished sooner than you might think.

            So you're saying tessellation is close to being finished? Do you have a link to a branch where one can look at the work-in-progress? The last time Chris Forbes branch on github was updated was in September

              Not sure about i965, but nvc0 and radeonsi work enough to run Heaven. (Note that nvc0 has a an unrelated bug with Heaven 4.0 which manifests without tess as well.)
