    Now hold on just a minute... I'm not getting the impression that this is a UVD vs XV situation, rather that this work is in the area of POST PROCESSING. UVD doesn't do post processing, UVD is decode plain and simple. Its output needs to be fed through something that does the rest of the work -- scaling, color conversion, adjustments, deinterlacing, etc.

      The VDPAU API includes all that, so it's a VDPAU vs XV situation.
