Should the wealth profile of politicians reflect the wealth profile of the voting population, via proportional representation? If not, why not?

If voters care that enough, wealth profiles might be reflected in proportional representation election. But I don't think it will work in straightforward manner, as people who gained power are usually no longer truly poor. Power and money intertwines. They will only be politicians who are "formerly poor". This is also the fundamental flaw of Marxism.

Such harsh punishment and low salary is risky as well. One greedy of money may lead to a corrupted government. But at least they won't be Hitler or Pol Pot. I would rather let politicians be rich.

Exactly got the point. The harsh punishments are required so the greedy get exterminated so the system works. As I said historic governments they funny part is not one of the historic government that run this way fell to corruption they all fell to being invaded.

Horrible to think this government system need the death punishment for brides and corruption to work with a few people every decade or so who had done nothing wrong getting put to death because of being false accused.

Harsh punishments and low salary turn out not be that risky. Think about it you are not getting paid enough to justify risking your neck doing the wrong things to keep the income.. Low salary without harsh punishments is absolutely risky.
