Again, you'd actually have to supply evidence. Perhaps the hate is coming from the other direction, which is why they've only let "blue haired trans SJWs" into their group... And excommunicated (or threaten to) anyone who has not overtly gone along. There is nothing about these pieces of software where the sexuality and politics of the authors is somehow so crucial for development... So how could it be this way? If a religious group all suddenly started dressing the same and simultaneously got the idea to basically castrate themselves, then everyone would call it a cult. But if it is a group of software developers...?
To find evidence either A. Look around you or B. Look in the mirror.

Did you think putting things in quotes would allow you to agree without also proving my point? lol

What did this topic have to do with Gnome that SSokolow mentioned them? :-P

Immediately you put your conspiracy theory hat on lmao

I didn't even notice the up votes lol Maybe you saw the 14 and got excited lmao (I'm messing with you on that one. Ya'll are fun to mess with)

I was saying somethinh that I noticed to be true. Besides the guy whose commits are currently taking up pages of the Xorh's pull requests, the "boycott Wayland" are also extremely right wing and can easily get triggered to on anti-"woke" rants.

How else did you think I knew what the politics of these people are? Lol They make their opinions known. A lot of the pro-X11 crowd here will go off on rants any time that a CoC is mentioned, especially if it has to do with Gnome because of all Gnome contributors are blue-aired, trans SJWs, and they hate that.

Ya'll are political and don't shut the fuck up about shit. Then when you get called out for shit you try to make it sound like the people calling you out are the obsessed ones who are in a Gnome/Wayland/Red hat/globalist/NWO/SJW cult lol

More like left hand path vs right hand path. Ends justify the means and lying is OK to achieve an end vs one should never lie. After all truth is not on a spectrum. Relativists seem desperate to leave the current reality so we can all meet in the future ASAP. It must be a very unpleasant psychological state to be in.

Neither the left wing nor movements have a monopoly on those sorts of tactics. It's probably just an organic accumulation of people who, for whatever reason, have tied their sense of identity to Wayland and feel threatened by the idea that criticisms of its suitability for certain user groups in its current form might have merit.

(I suspect it's people who see GNOME as "my tribe" and feel threatened by evidence that GNOME's vision of a perfect desktop isn't suitable for all needs, given that GNOME seems to be far and away the most wedded to "Wayland is X and not Y. If you claim you need Y from X11 for your workflow, then your workflow is wrong.")

I will take it back when there will be serious work that will fix X11 issues and limitations. Considering his opinion on Wayland it seems pretty unlikely that he is interested in doing that so that makes me believe that work is nothing more than putting X11 on life support instead of serious rework.

Except what I've posted is on a random web forum and not the most important public mailing list in the world.

    Here's another good example:

Just dumb stupid behavior on the LKML and speaks for itself.
Sounds like he engages in the free expression of ideas, same as you. Still nothing you've said implicates any lack of skill as a programmer. Without that, there's nothing to debate.

Let us know when you have removed every package from your system that was ever contributed to by anyone who did not 100% agree with your views on complex political, legal and medical issues. I'm guessing you will be left with approximately 0 packages. Should be one heckuva fun system. Gaming on that rig is going to be lit.
