    Is there any commercial interest in this project?
    LIke for example some long term plans to ship future Android/Chromebook devices with the Mesa driver instead of some binary by Qualcomm?

      Yes, Chromebooks.
      It has been confirmed by Rob Clark in an earlier article about this Qualcomm driver.
