Phoronix: X.Org Server 1.20.5 Released With A Few XWayland & GLAMOR Fixes

With no X.Org Server 1.21 release being imminent, Red Hat's Adam Jackson today issued xorg-server 1.20.5 as a very small point release to the existing 1.20 stable series...

The last point release was very important for Xwayland, so it is great to see another one!

Redhat releasing an Xorg update.. IBM must have some secret agents into XFCE project as well I guess. Let's the troll fest begin!
      PS:
sorry all but I'm horrified by waiting for a Debianxfce derranged post to appear.
debianxfce - of those reporting posts and complaining about abusive behavior / ranting, you are currently number one on that list of people complaining about forum content. You are officially warned and kindly asked to refrain from instigating / abusive forum posts otherwise bans / ignores, etc, may be in place.

This is a benchmarking website. People only think you are a troll because you have not shown any proof that your setup is better than everything else. Please provide Michael an ISO of your distro and/or extremely detailed instructions to get the absolute best.

Until Michael makes a post with benchmarks showing your OS being better than everything else ever made ever, people will treat you like a troll. Only benchmark numbers matter. You can say anything and everything but if you have no proof no one will believe you. This is why benchmarks are important, they show proof. So provide Michael with your amazing setup so that us ignorant fools can finally see how smart you are.

This X.Org Server 1.20.5 point release does not include the recent upstream work around EGL-based GLX provider, PRIME GPU offloading improvements, and other recent XWayland work. Those patches are in Git master for X.Org Server 1.21, which has no release schedule at this point, and doesn't appear to be marked for now as candidates to back-port for the 1.20 series.
          Ahww.

That is just what I'm waiting for.

Nowadays one could just provide a vagrant file, nixos config, or something. Should be quite easy for a professional (e.g. debianxfce).

Michael should already be running XFCE. Or else!

It's too bad that X.Org does not have any roadmap.
