Amlogic itself doesn't seem to use the name "Meson" themselves a lot. Who was first, meson-build or linux-meson?

H.265 and H.264 and VP9 are all coming in first half in 2019 along with HDMI 2.0. Libre Computer is sponsoring the work.

AMlogic is a apu for (cheap?) tablets and smartphones, so are we seeing than somewhere a tablet where you can flash on a normal linux maybe soon the librem gnome ui or kde plasma or something? I find it so funny with this arm apus you get much drivers but you can't buy often hardware to use this driver at all.
Or are there some Rpi boards that use that gpu/soc?
