    Use your brain. Qualcomm doesn't know if something they use is patented so they wait 20 years after they patented to make sure that any patents prior to their own have already expired.

      lol, you have no slightest idea how patents work. they are all public. everyone can see qualcomm's patents and qualcomm can see everyone else patents. that's the whole point of patents

        what is the future of the snapdragon 800 then? Is it siniliar enough so i can have hope to run mainline on my tablet later on?
