    Yes, I know - many of you do not care about nVidia at all, but reality is that nVidia proprietary driver is still recognised as main card for Linux game developers (and also for Unity/Unreal engines)...

    So no X.Org 1.20 soon = no nVidia Wayland support soon = less Wayland adoption (especially in gaming)...

    Maybe something Red Hat is preparing - they already cooperated heavily with nVidia on client side GLVND in previous Fedora releases that - after decade with buggy workarounds - finally gave us initial, proper support for nVidia Optimus...

      X.Org 1.20 (or later) will likely ship with Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS in about February of 2019 as a part of the HWE stack. Better late than never.
