    Yet another option , and some still believe that adapting mir to work with Wayland , to ease the development environments is a worthwhile investment

      It's been around and functioning for quite some time now but still no stable release.
      The API breakage is very rare now though, so you could consider it to be "stable" anyway.

            do I understand correct that this guy has written sway to some degree of i3 compatibility and then has started over by writing his own compositor wlroots with black jack and hookers?
