    i just asked Kalev if 1.9 will be in f23, he's gonna ask the gnome-shell team

    is there some list of bugs? so, people could easier decide if they are facing some show stopper for their usage. i for example don't care about Qt, KDE, LibreOffice, FireFox...

    Weston, as usual, is a bit more exciting on the changes for 1.9. Besides also having updated license text, Weston, as usual, is a bit more exciting on the changes for 1.9.
    I think the first could part could be safely deleted ;-)

    Code:
    $ GDK_BACKEND=wayland CLUTTER_BACKEND=wayland gedit
    (gedit:21996): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_screen_get_monitor_scale_factor: assertion 'monitor_num < gdk_screen_get_n_monitors (screen)' failed
    (gedit:21996): Gdk-ERROR **: wl_display@1: error 1: invalid arguments for [email protected]_xdg_surface
    well this command in arch works perfectly GDK_BACKEND=wayland gedit (no need for clutter) and qtapp -platform wayland, dunno about fedora sorry(i think you need weston 1.8 + gtk-3.16+ and qt5.4+)

    The thing is, AFAI understand, that at the moment different toolkits support different versions and this messes up things. Probably a toolkit problem but still.
