Wayland 1.7 's features are a mystery. Kristian's quiet departure from Wayland is also a mystery. Wayland managed by an ex-canonical dev, mysterious. I'm getting chills. Somebody check out the Wayland dev crew - they might be zombies by now.
sensationalizing? or troll baiting? sometimes i just want to enable AddBlock when seeing things like this. why should anyone get paid for stirring flame war since doing otherwise would say conduct like that is supported?
How can it be that Kristian never said why he stopped working on Wayland?
He is working on uber misty stuff for intel. Top secret stuff.
Seriously i believe the answers are: a) Wayland IS ready. b) They (intel) don't pay him for something they don't care (desktop/remote which are already semi ready and can be handled by the rest). c) has nothing else to add to the protocol.
