    That joke would have made more sense if you said iOS (or Metro, or Android) where closing apps is treated as a feature for advanced users only. OS X still has close buttons right there in the corner.

    Wayland supported it long time ago, they just don't bother about how to implement in the compositor (weston) before.

    Anyway, weston serves as example for others wanting to implement an actual wayland compositor.

    Well, often Wayland development feels the same way. Always moving forward but always inexplicably slow.
