      So, does this technically mean we could bring up ChromeOS as if it were a mere login option for GDM or something? Or even just run it like we can already run Weston in a window within X to try it out? It looks like we'll gain a lot of flexibility from something like this. Even the ability to run ChromeOS on a tablet.

      Of course, I could be looking too far into this, but it sounds like a big step in the right direction.

            You are aware that one can build a wayland web browser in Qt since a few months, right ? QtWebkit works with Wayland.
