And he has daily, sometimes hourly crashes with the proprietary drivers. Meanwhile I and the vast majority of other people have perfect stability using both. Hence it must be something specific to your hardware/setup.

They just do the same market share bullshit with windows RT. The market share of windows RT is low because of this the investment is low to.

It's a bit unfair if the last page has a single post in it

Really when was the last time you looked at the freedesktop bug tracker? There are years old bugs that talk about crashes, rendering issues and so on: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/buglist...resolution=---

So much to your facts. BTW: From my experience the catalyst team is way faster at fixing major bugs. Yes, I reported problems to both teams but while the FOSS bugs aren't getting fixed since months the catalyst ones have been fixed in the next release.

Even bridgman admit this "effect" it in the past.

Its pure logic and marketshare calculation and marget fragmentation calculation.

AMD calculate it like this: 100% endconsumer sales =turnover for endconsumers then 98% turnover goes into the windows market(windows catalyst) and 2% goes into the linux market and 1% is pure 2D work this goes into the radeon and 1% is (linux)catalyst. and then the price for the hardware is a "universal" one this means if you buy a card for the radeon you pay the same price this means 99% for catalyst and 1% for radeon.

sure idiots like you turn it arround an say: no no all the windows users pay a 1% tax to the radeon users... thats true but it dosn't matter because if you buy ARM products you get 100% linux this means if an induvidual want to support linux his best result is if he buy ARM hardware instead of AMD hardware.

This is a FACT! and you just talk bullshit.
