Many thanks to all the highly skilled developers for taking the time to perfect this implementation

      Michael must be loving Wayland.

For every Wayland compositor getting a new Wayland feature he can write a news piece.

Compare it to poor Xorg that was shared between all the WMs.

I gather that he likes wayland, systemd, things that make linux faster, and a few other things.

He does cover stuff no one else covers like the other day OpenBSD getting allerated graphics, and he does cover icewm when it gets updates on here.

So yeah, while some stuff is beat around here like a dead horse, he does cover some of the esoteric.

Great. Now allow the configuration of scaling behaviour for xwayland applications independent from the scaling of the sway ui and I may actually be able to switch from i3wm.

          You can do it!

They are pretty late with that but considering the fact that they don't support proprietary drivers and open source drivers don't need it to work properly I guess it made sense they didn't consider this as very important like other desktops. Good thing it's finally there on Sway as well.

Which are the compositors that support explicit sync currently?

I like Wayland as well. A lot actually. Could there eventually be something better? Always can be. But where things stand today, happy to let the Wayland overlords have at it and enjoy what they come up with.

Hyprland also merged in the same day just a bit before Sway. It will also be released on the next release together with Aquamarine.

Yeah, poor Xorg abandonware, which only gets like a feature per year and a couple of dozens of newly discovered security issues.
