I am able to run Linux applications using the new MS wayland server, thanks to someone on Reddit. Apparently the new feature was also discovered on Twitter a few days earlier.

Would be curious to see benchmarks on their Wayland implementation.
(From my testing, Linux Firefox is running at 60hz while my only Windows monitor is configured at 240hz. Hopefully something they'll look into!)
