So they then waste valuable time creating stupid projects like Devuan instead of spending their time doing something more useful for the community, like as example create something like silverblue for debian or help the teams that create reproducable builds and stuff like that.
But it goes even further than that, this people and people that fall for that then fight a lot say how horrible that all is, and then potential windows people say, look at this bunch of angry people fighting nonstop, then again I said maybe less linux users would be good to have less such people that are ignorant but then it becomes a circular argument, to not discurage new users you want less users, which makes not that much sense .
But last but not least yes logicall maybe it makes no sense to argue against ignorance, but it annoys me, just because you can't fix a problem doesn't make you not care about that anymore. Sure if we are all good students of buddha that detachment would be great, but that takes lots of time and training to get there.
