      Hi everyone. Live wallpaper/Screensaver (or a short looped avi) like Aquarium was in early Linux distributions. "Sway" has this feature. Apparently, Mutter in Ubuntu (Debian) is a problem for programmers who would like to implement this feature. I got this information from a programmer on his project in Gitlab (Sway add-on). Some of the local users may know: Is live wallpaper possible under Wayland (from Mutter)? For me this is: "must have"
      btw. "Komorebi" has stopped on Ubuntu 16 ..

        Sway + XWayland has a far lower overhead than Xorg on the Panfrost driver, so as well as better performance, power consumption should be lower during idle.

        Though the implementation is currently somewhat buggy, Weston now supports using hardware planes rather than GL composition, which should help with power consumption even more. Hopefully this will soon be integrated into other compositors.

          Sounds awesome. I think there was some generic library aiming to assist with that, libliftoff ors omething.
