Keith should maybe look to get his hand on one of the VR Mark kit :

Or maybe get the multimeter directly from their partner : http://www.optofidelity.com/test-sol...mance-testing/

VRScore was a similar product but the link form the review seems down : http://www.roadtovr.com/basemark-has...adset-latency/

Although, as interesting as these tools seem, i've never read a review of someone actually using them to compare the Rift and Vive, or any other HMD. Would love to ;-)

      Comment gone in limbo? retrying

FurtureMark has a VR Mark kit which doesn't seem available for individual customers : https://www.futuremark.com/pressrele...r-latency-test

Maybe through their partner : http://www.optofidelity.com/test-solutions/rd-testing/virtual-reality-performance-testing/

VRScore was a similar product but link seems dead : http://www.roadtovr.com/basemark-has...adset-latency/

As an aside, would really love to see Vive and Rift benchmarked against each other with this kind of tool... Wink Wink

He doesn't hate it, but he's not advocating for it either, afaik.

Now if only I could misuse this to run Kodi/Steam BP to the TV with separate input devices.

Hey guys, I'm a total newbie to VR but I'm looking to set it up after trying it out at a friends house. I was looking at a buyer's guide on the Verge and I know so little about the actual tech that I need some actual human help and support.

I went through some lists describing the best VR systems but I'd like your opinion on it? For example, are there any less-known systems that I could get to save some cash. Of course, provided that they are reliable and worth the money.

Also, do you have any VR games to recommend? I tried Space Junkies and Beat Saber which are both enjoyable. Lone Echo from this list looks interesting but I'd like to hear some more opinions.

              Thanks!
