      Well, who cares. They don't even support OpenGL 4.5 yet, and no Vulkan either. Apple should get lost.

        I guess I would rather have Vulkan, but if moltenvk takes off, I will be happy with metal.

            assuming you have a Mac with a graphics card powerful enough for virtual reality
            That sounds like a big assumption.

            Disclaimer, I don't really follow Apple product releases nowadays.

              They just released support for external gpus on MacBooks, and new iMacs with new radeons, and iMac pro with Vega.
