What are you talking about? DOOM and Talos runs at the same speed.

yep compared to AMDGPU PRO the RAD-V vulkan driver is very slow.
And tbh the pro driver is also slow compared to the NVidia proprietary vulkan driver or compared to AMD windows vulkan.

Basically a year after the release of vulkan; AMD users on Linux do not have a performant driver Which does justice to the hardware... this after being told that vulkan drivers would not become an obstacle the way openGL drivers did.

Alright to have a poke in fun. I prefer oss and was looking forward to seeing the official amd Vulkan driver released, but I know they are busy working on other stuff that takes priority. Its just nice to see radv progressing in the meantime.

We're aiming for a 2-month cadence in general (so 6 releases a year), tweaked as needed to align with new products & features.

Michael bridgman doesn't AMDGPU-PRO follows a 3 months release cadence? So it seems hard to the driver be released in the same day as the vulkan spec's update

I wonder if we will see RADV become feature complete before AMD open source their Vulkan driver. Hehe.
