Haha AMD is teaching us how to use Vulkan.

It's funny, cuz we can't use Vulkan on their hardware.

I found a typo on that blog! :P

"Developers should make sure to unregister their debug report callbacks before destroying the instance,
otherwise they going to be notified about their misbehavior through any debug report callback that’s
      registered to receive errors."

yep... they going to be notified about their misbehavior

Other than that, it was vary nice.

I'm sure Nvidia is making good use of all AMD's open source info and tutorials They have the A-Team when it comes to Linux drivers so why not..

What are You talking about? AMD had same day Vulkan support in beta drivers for Windows... As in Vulkan official release same day.

they are teaching game devs, who already have access also to the linux driver as AMD said multiple times here in the forums.

users do not need to learn vulkan. they do not even need the driver yet as talos principle is slower with vulkan atm.

but that one has not passed the conformance test. 16.3 does.
Not sure if the changes are huge, actually. I didn't try this on Windows

Honest question, because I do not know: Is not passing the conformance test an issue for game devs, that stops them from starting to port their engines or test their games?
