    I'm waiting for the day they drop their proprietary Adreno drivers and switch to Mesa's freedreno and turnip for their Android vendor BSPs.
    Imagine all Android devices with a Qualcomm SoC running on open source drivers.

      rooted devices can load them, but they have some issues iirc, not sure if it's rendering issues or simple performance though

        Ah yeah, I see now there's a whole thread dedicated on switching the vulkan driver to turnip here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/g...co-f3.4323871/

        I'm soon going to install a custom ROM on my OnePlus 7T so I can use Magisk for getting root access on the adb shell.
        Will give this a try then

              Great but VK_KHR_16bit_storage is only for adreno 650 or newest. I hope they'll cover all 6xx adreno (630 in my case) .
