Will VK_EXT_extended_dynamic_state2 also help AMD cards or is it a feature favoring Nvidia cards for non obvious internal reasons?

I don't really know for sure, but EXT means more than one vendor backed this extension so it shouldn't be particularly nvidia specific.

The specs behind it seem pretty straightforward and I'd guess all desktop cards could support it pretty easily.

      • Extending VkDynamicState:
        • VK_DYNAMIC_STATE_DEPTH_BIAS_ENABLE_EXT
        • VK_DYNAMIC_STATE_LOGIC_OP_EXT
        • VK_DYNAMIC_STATE_PATCH_CONTROL_POINTS_EXT
        • VK_DYNAMIC_STATE_PRIMITIVE_RESTART_ENABLE_EXT
        • VK_DYNAMIC_STATE_RASTERIZER_DISCARD_ENABLE_EXT
