        Well, Johan of Frostbite fame did contribute a lot to the specification. There's even presentation he did at GDC, isn't there? Might have been Mantle or Vulkan, can't remember at what stage it was.

          Bachchain beat me too it!

          30 fps, unless you get the 60, 75, 120 or 144 hz extension from thier vulkan loot boxes. Only 1 on 1000 boxes have the 144 hz extension.....

            I was going to mention vulkan support DLC, but bachchain's lootbox comment is so much better.

              I thought their frostbyte engine was already supporting (or planning to support) Vulkan in the past. So this is not surprising.

                    IIRC, it was Mantle for BF4.
