      The lead (engine) developer said that they planned to use Metal on Macs.

        Afaik they plan to use Metal for Mac's natively , somebody told they were also Mac heads so that is pretty normal.

          Their staff also made preliminary but promising tests. The stuff they render has nice FPS improvements.

          Aerofly 2 is another flight simulator that is or was being ported to Linux. Windows users tell me it has stunning visuals and is very fast even on a 970.
