Sounds like something laptop-specific, not a general bug the developers can reproduce or work on with the information you provided. Can you please update the ticket to include info about your specific laptop ?

Yes, you were right! Our problem was caused by the opensource coreboot BIOS incorrectly initializing the discrete GPU.
